About a year and a half ago, I took a road trip with Chrissy and Andrew and some of our friends out to Ruidoso, New Mexico. I thought we were in for a weekend of hiking and horse races, but was beyond thrilled to find out that Andrew was planning to put a ring on it at some point during the trip. Our group spent one afternoon sledding down the dunes at White Sands National Monument where Andrew popped the question and Chrissy said yes! It was an incredible moment that lead to a year full of festivities celebrating a wonderful couple.

I was honored to be a bridesmaid in the wedding and to also have the opportunity to create a dessert table for such special friends. Chrissy and Andrew opted for a lemon and coconut cake from Lick it Bite it or Both, and a selection of our homestyle treats including s’mores brownies, snickerdoodle blondies, oatmeal cream pies, mini strawberry pop tarts, and rice krispy treats. We set the display on a rustic stone table in the gardens at Wild Onion Ranch and used clear glass and tin cake stands.
